Step Maze House

Situated on a unique trapezium-shaped corner plot, Step Maze is a volumetric response to the dual challenges of privacy and openness. Designed for a family of five, the residence acts as a tranquil sanctuary amidst the urban density. The façade is a rhythmic interplay of vertical louvers and terracotta jaalis, which filter harsh sunlight and facilitate passive cooling while maintaining visual privacy from the street.

Internally, the home is organized around a dynamic vertical core. Staggered staircases the 'Step Maze' create a visual dialogue between levels, turning circulation into a social experience. From the entrance lounge to the open terrace garden, every space is calibrated to maximize natural light and cross-ventilation, ensuring a home that is as energy-efficient as it is aesthetically striking.
